This is a good learning program for beginners; however, it does not work with VISTA...but whats new...nothing works with VISTA

I personally do not like the product for the following reasons

- The text should NOT move. The moving text created distraction for typing.
- The background swimming fish also creates distraction.
- I do not like seeing the keyboard. Instead, I would like to see all my text on the screen
- I hope that it contains some games to enhance the experience like some other products that I used a while ago.

My 11 year old son has started using the typing tutor for 5 minutes a day and he finds it easy, intuitive and enjoys using it.

My plan is to have him build his skills gradually and having previously experimented with programs live Mavis Beacon and Typequik, I would recommend this program as the best I've come across.

I have not had much time to check out the features of the program, but it does not (at least as far as I can determine) do what I wanted - namely, to practice typing with the Cyrillic keyboard. I may not have the program configured correctly, but as far as I can see, it does not do what I need.

I think this would be a very good typing tutor for Windows but I've just got Ubuntu (Linux) and it doesn't run very well on it with a Windows emulator

It is quite good, a classic typing instructor. I found a bug concerning the characters in Bosnian language /č/ć/đ/š/ž/. They are written as /c/c/d/s/z/, so it's pretty confusing. That's my only remark.

Makes a mundane task almost fun.

No complaints and much satisfaction with this apart from one request for future versions: Make the time allowed for a single letter to be typed before flagging an error user defined. Its confusing having a letter flagged up as red when one has pressed it correctly although not quickly in the programmes opinion. Speed comes after accuracy with typing after all - or it should!

Slow Hand

I am 'the Slow Hand" or should that be was? I am finding RapidTyping very beneficial in helping me find my way around the keyboard and adding a bit of speed too. It's only day 2 but the inications are of improvement daily! The progtamme is user friendly and having the fish showing an interest in my skills is very inspiring.

It really works and it`s fun too!

I write for a living. So I spend a lot of time at the keyboard. For the most part, I type by touch, but I have trouble locating numbers and punctuation. I've only been using the RapidTyping Typing Tutor a few days and it's already improved my typing!

Great tool but only interface is multilingual

I like this tool and since it's free: my compliments!

Since I'm dutch I would like to use this tool to teach my kids to typ words in dutch as well.

How can I do this (other then change all the words by hand my self)?

Great Find!

I was really looking one for my self and tried some. This is the simplest so far, my kids love then and they have no problem using it.

I just hope that there are some option for reducing the opacity of animated screen so as not to be distracted and the keyboard letters can be set to caps for easy association with our keyboard.
